Plus One student found hanging at home in Varkala 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 17-year-old girl was found hanging at home in Varkala. She has been identified as Sivakami, a Plus One student of Nedunganda Higher Secondary School in Vettur. She was found hanging Friday morning at around 11 am. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. Only her father was at home at the time of the incident.

She was found hanging in a search conducted after she went missing. Her father then informed the neighbors and they took her to the hospital. No clues are presently available regarding the cause of death. Varkala police reached the spot and completed the inquest proceedings. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
