Case against three for bursting crackers in mid of road as part of marriage celebrations 

KOZHIKODE: A wedding group at Nadapuram in Kozhikode blocked traffic on a state highway to burst crackers, leading to a police case against three individuals for obstructing the public road. The incident happened on the Nadapuram-Thalassery state highway. The police have registered a case against three known people for causing hardships to the public by disrupting traffic.

The team, who came to attend the wedding of Koroth Moidu's son, is behind the celebrations. The Nadapuram police have registered a case for bursting crackers in a manner that disrupted traffic and causing difficulties to the public.

Vehicles and pedestrians could not pass for a long time as the firecrackers were piled up in the middle of the road and set on fire. The loud explosion of the firecrackers created panic in the town. The action was taken based on the report given by the police officers on duty.
