Woman succumbs to injuries sustained after son throws her out along with chair 

KANNUR: An old woman who was undergoing treatment for serious injuries after attacked by her son, has died. The dead is V Shantha (88) of Palliyamoolai in Kannur. The police had arrested her son Sajeevan in the incident. She was attacked on February 11 following a dispute with her son around 11 pm.

Sajeevan later came home drunk and threw her out along with her chair. The seriously injured woman was taken to the hospital by the locals. Shantha died this morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kannur.
