THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department predicted the possibility of rain for the next five days in Kerala. The news will bring big relief to the people of the state, reeling under scorching heat. It was announced that various districts of Kerala will receive light rain till February 22. The Meteorological Department stated that all districts will receive rain on the 22nd.

18 -02- 2026: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam

19 -02- 2026: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki

20 -02- 2026: Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam

21 -02- 2026: Thiruvananthapuram to Palakkad

22 -02- 2026: All districts will receive rain

The Meteorological Department warned that strong winds gusting up to 40 to 50 kmph and gusting up to 60 kmph, and bad weather are likely over the Gulf of Mannar, adjoining south Tamil Nadu coast and Kanyakumari region.

There is also a possibility of strong winds gusting up to 45 to 55 kmph and gusting up to 65 kmph, and bad weather over the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean.
