After Salaar and Varanasi, Prithviraj eyes another Telugu project

Recent reports claim that Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to act in another big-budget Telugu film after Salaar with Prabhas and Varanasi starring Mahesh Babu. According to reports, Prithviraj will play a lead role in the upcoming film titled Bloody Romeo. However, no further details about the project have been officially confirmed. Discussions are said to be in the final stage.

The film’s title and shooting schedule were officially announced on the occasion of actor Nani’s 42nd birthday. Soon after the announcement, reports emerged that Prithviraj is being considered for an important role in the movie.

Prithviraj made his Telugu debut with the 2010 film Police Police. Later, in 2023, he played Varadaraja Mannar in Salaar alongside Prabhas. He is currently playing the villain in Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu. Apart from his Telugu projects, Prithviraj is also working on the Hindi film Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.
