THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A P Abdullakutty, expelled from the congress for showering praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon after the Lok Sabha win, has been made BJP state vice president. This was informed by BJP state chief P S Sreedharan Pillai. He said there has been no set-back in the by-polls and as expected worked everywhere. He said there is no decrease in the BJP votes. 257 people from the Left Front will join the party, added Pillai.

Pillai rejected the exit polls related to the by-polls. This is just to weaken the party. Positive reports were obtained on the by-polls held in five constituencies. More will be asserted soon after the results are out, he said.
