'Saw that image on porn website at age 15, haunts me still'; Janhvi Kapoor opens up

Actress Janhvi Kapoor revealed an incident that left her shocked at the age of 15. Janhvi said she still feels queasy seeing fake images created using AI spread on social media. The actress shared her experience during a conversation with podcaster Raj Shamani.

Janhvi Kapoor:

“I don't know if it's a deepfake. But it was something like that. We had an IT class at school. At that time, boys used to log into websites with pornographic content without the teacher noticing. To my shock, I saw a fake image of me on the website. It was a strange experience, and the whole class was looking into it. At that time, I tried to convince myself that it was the price to be paid for being popular.

But over the years, my perspective on such things changed. Fake pictures created using AI technology still haunt me. Pictures of me in clothes I never wore, or in a pose I never posed in, are being created rapidly. It makes me uncomfortable that such pictures are appearing even on official news pages.”
