Youth stabbed to death over dispute on rent a car issue

PARAVUR: A youth was stabbed to death over a verbal dispute on rent a car. The dead has been identified as Mubarak (24), son of Badrudeen of Vedimara Kanjirapparambil. 24-year-old Nadirsha sustained injuries when he tried to intervene on the issue. The incident happened last night at an abandoned place near the Masjid.


A verbal dispute broke out when questioned about the money to be paid for the car rented and this ended in the tragic death of Mubarak. Though he was taken to the medical college hospital, his life could not be saved. He was stabbed on the chest. Nadirsha is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The body kept in the hospital will be taken to Ernakulam for post-mortem.

There are more than eight accused in the case and all of them have fled the place. The police have obtained information about the accused.
