NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court said the digital proofs in the actress attack case cannot be handed over to actor Dileep. The court rejected the actor’s demand on it. Either Dileep or his advocate can examine the evidences, but it cannot be handed over to anyone, the court said.

Dileep had demanded a copy of the evidences collected by the investigating officials from witnesses and accused. Police collected digital evidences including laptops and mobile phones. Such evidences are likely to include private scenes. The prosecution told the court that handing over the evidences to Dileep may lead to influence and intimidate witnesses. Accepting this argument, the court rejected Dileep's plea.
