CM Pinarayi Vijayan visits residence of Praveen, who lost his life in gas leak tragedy in Nepal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CM Pinarayi Vijayan reached out to the residence of Praveen K. Nair, who lost his life in a gas leak tragedy in a resort in Nepal. The CM reached 'Rohini Bhavan' in Chenkottukonam at around 10.45 am. He met Praveen's father Krishnan Nair and mother Prasanna and spent some time by their side.

Mayor K. Sreekumar, Praveen's sister Praseetha, brother-in-law Rajesh and other relatives were in the house. In the group of 15 that travelled to Nepal on vacation, Praveen, his wife Saranya, their children Sreebhadra, Archa and Abhinav died after inhaling poisonous gas from a room heater. Their friends who were co-travellers-Ranjith Kumar, wife Indu Lakshmi and their son Vaishnav were also in the same room as they too met with tragic death.
