Kerala on corona alert, Kasargod strengthens search, no bus services to Karnataka and TN

KASARGOD: In the wake of increasing coronary cases, inspection has been tightened in the district. The district collector is directly leading the inspection. Shops opened were forced to down shutters to prevent the spread of the virus. Government offices will be closed for a week. Six including a two-year-old child was confirmed of the virus.

Services of long route buses of KSRTC from Wayanad have been stalled. Only essential vehicles are permitted to leave the check post. Bus services to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have been sopped. Full control will be in place by tonight.

12 in the state were confirmed of the virus yesterday. Five foreigners in Ernakulam and one in Palakkad were confirmed of the virus. The five has been admitted at the isolation ward of Ernakulam Medical College. They arrived from Britain and visited Kochi, Thrissur and Munnar.
