One more Malayali dies of COVID-19 in Britain

LONDON: One more Keralite died of COVID-19 in Britain. He has been identified as Seby Devassy (49) of Kurumasseri in Ernakulam. He died at the Southampton General Hospital in Britain. People who came in contact with him have been placed under isolation. Whether any of them have contracted the disease or not is not known.

Meantime, the total number of death cases worldwide has touched 1,70,425. Number of infected cases have reached 24,80,000. 1939 people have died in America in the last 24 hours. Total deaths in US alone is 42,514. Reports say more than 2 lakh have been infected in Spain. Total death toll is 20,852. When 24,114 died in Italy, 20,265 lost their lives in France. France has become the fourth country in the world to cross 20,000 deaths. Death toll in Britain is 16,509. The rise in the death toll in US is a matter of concern.
