Thief comes in search of NRI’s house despite lockdown, makes away with 35 sovereign gold

KASARGOD: Police have intensified the search in the case related to the burglary at the house of Manjeswaram Udhyavaram resident Naveen Chandra. The burglar had stolen 35 sovereign gold which included chain, bangles and necklace. Naveen is currently abroad.

His wife and only two children are at home. For the past some days, they has been staying in the house of their family house nearby.
The incident came to light when the wife and children reached the house on Wednesday morning only to see someone had broken into the house.

Following this, they informed the police. Dog squads and fingerprint experts reached the spot and examined the spot. Kasargod DySP P Balakrishnan and Manjeswaram S I Anoop Kumar also reached the place and conducted the examination.

The locals are flustered by this big burglary despite the lockdown. The police said that they had not got any information about thief.
