THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India meteorological department (IMD) has warned of heavy rains in the state for the next four days. Yellow alert has been issued in eight districts following it. As there are chances for strong winds and heavy rains, those residing in areas prone to landslides have been asked to be more vigilant.
Those residing in coastal areas prone to sea erosion should also be vigilant. The warring issued has mentioned that there are possibilities for trees to uproot and chances of posts falling.
