KOZHIKODE: The police has taken a case against congress leaders for taking out a march to the institution where nurse Lini’s husband Sajeesh works, in protest against the statement on KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran. The case was taken against them for staging the protest march to the primary health centre in Koothali and for manhandling the health inspector of the health centre.

The Peruvannamuzhi police has taken the case against many including DCC secretary Muneer Eravath and congress block president Rajan Marutheri. The action was following the complaint lodged by the medical officer of Koothali primary health centre.

Sajeesh had earlier come forward against Mullappally’s statement addressing Health Minister K K Shailaja as COVID Queen and Nipa Princess.

Youth Congress later staged a march to the health minister where he is working.
