One more COVID death; native of Thenhipalam dies at Manjeri Medical College

MANJERI: One more COVID-19 death has been reported in Kerala. The dead has been identified as Kutty Hassan (67) of Pallikkal in Thenhipalam. He was undergoing treatment at Manjeri Medical College.

Hassan, a fish agent in Kondotty Market, was admitted at a private hospital in Kozhikode on July 24 for high fever. His son had earlier tested positive for COVID. In the tests conducted, he also tested positive. He was admitted at COVID ICU of Manjeri Medical College on July 25. He died Wednesday morning at 9.40 am.

Hospital authorities said that he was a diabetic, had blood pressure and had heart ailments also.
