COVID crisis continues in Thiruvananthapuram as 205 persons test positive on Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The situation remains critical in Thiruvananthapuram as 205 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. Of the new cases, 192 persons contracted the disease through contact. As of now, more than 3500 persons are currently undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in the district.

Meanwhile, the state reported 962 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 801 contracted the disease through contact, while 55 had returned from abroad and 85 had returned from other states. 15 health workers also tested positive for the virus on Monday.
