Edavela Babu’s mother passes away

THRISSUR: Actor Edavela Babu’s mother Santha Raman died here Sunday morning. She was 78. Her body will be cremated at 3 pm today at the premises of her house. It was her birthday yesterday. After the birthday celebrations, heard a noise at 1 am and when rushed inside saw her lying on the floor. She died of cardiac arrest. The body kept at the Irinjalakuda Co-operative Hospital, was brought to the actor’s house at 9 am. She was the music teacher of Govt Girls High School.
