Goons abduct passenger on his way home from Karipur Airport

MALAPPURAM: A goonda team abducted a passenger while he was returning home from the Karipur Airport. The passenger was abducted after stopping the taxi in which he was travelling. Riyaz, a native of Kuttiyadi was the one abducted. It was taxi driver Ashraf, a native of Mukkom, who informed the abduction to the police.

The incident happened at 6 pm last evening. The gang followed his car and abducted him when it reached Koloth in Kondotty. The gang fled from the spot when the locals gathered at the spot. Police suspect gold smuggling team behind the abduction. The Kondotty police has registered a case and probe has started.
