THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6357 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. Among this, 5542 persons developed the disease through contact including 645 cases without an identified source of infection. 107 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 63 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 6793 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 76,927 active cases in the state.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Saturday with the toll rising to 1848.
