THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 5772 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among this, 4989 persons developed the disease through contact including 639 cases without an identified source of infection. 91 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 53 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 6398 patients tested negative for the virus today.
The state recorded 25 COVID deaths on Saturday with the toll rising to 2022.
