Girl kills self after mother scolds her for talking on phone

NEDUMKANDAM: A 21-year-old woman committed suicide after her mother scolded her for continuously talking on the phone. The woman identified as Devaki (21) was found hanging in a ceiling fan at her rented house at Thookkupalam in Nedumkandam, Idukki. Her mother scolded her for talking on the phone for a long time and then grabbed it from her. Following that, she took the drastic step.
