THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister's Additional Private Secretary CM Raveendran has been discharged from the hospital after recovering from his illness. Raveendran was admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital two days ago for post-COVID treatment.
Raveendran had tested positive for COVID-19 soon after he was issued a notice by the Enforcement Directorate to appear for questioning in connection with the gold smuggling case. The ED then issued another notice after Raveendran's test results returned negative. He was asked to appear for questioning on Friday. However, hospital authorities said that Raveendran, who was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for post-COVID treatment, is in need of specialist treatment. The medical records related to this were also handed over to the ED by the authorities.
