Life mission scam: Vigilance seeks court’s nod to get WhatsApp chat history of accused

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance makes moves to check the WhatsApp chat history of the accused in life mission scam. The department has sought court nod to acquire the copies of WhatsApp chat history of Sivasankar, Swapna Suresh and Sandeep.

Vigilance gave plea in NIA court on last week. The department has informed the court that details of Whatsapp chat history of the accused are necessary to continue the investigation. Sources say the next phase of the probe will only begin after receiving the copies of Whatsapp messages between the accused persons.
