Misbehaviour towards complainant and daughter: ASI suspended

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ASI Gopakumar of Neyyar Dam police station has been suspended pending investigation into the incident where he misbehaved with a complainant and his daughter. State police chief Loknath Behra had directed the law and order ADGP to take action. The Neyyattinkara DySP has been directed to investigate the incident.

The incident was recorded on the phone held by the person who was with the complainant when the police misbehaved. The incident sparked controversy after it spread on social media and an inquiry was ordered against Gopakumar.
