THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that Cyclone Burevi will touch the coast by midnight today. The CM said that the cyclone will pass through the Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam border tomorrow. The Chief Minister added that the wind speed in Kerala will be less than 60 kmph and there is no risk of floods.
Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idukki districts will receive heavy rains in connection with the cyclone. The CM also said that there is a possibility of strong winds in the districts from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam.
