CPM state leadership has asked CM Raveendran, who is continuing in hospital despite after covering from covid 19, to appear before the investigation agencies for interrogation. On the basis of the party’s direction, he had left the hospital and continued treatment at home but his health condition deteriorated on Tuesday, following which he was again admitted in hospital. He is currently admitted in Thiruvananthapuram seeking treatment for citing post covid syndrome.

An ED team has conducted probe on different institutions where CM Raveendran has direct links. The assets of all his relatives had been scanned by probe officials. Meanwhile, when new controversies are erupting in the state over gold smuggling case, the uncertainty looming over Raveendran’s interrogation is another shot in the government’s arm.
