KANNUR: AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal has hinted at the possibility of a leadership change in the state Congress. KC Venugopal clarified that the AICC team will study the situation in Kerala and take a decision. Earlier, Venugopal had rejected the demand for a change in leadership in the party immediately after the results of the local body elections. However, sources suggest that Venugopal was forced to change his stance after the constituent parties, including the Muslim League and RSP, demanded a leadership change in the Congress.

"The organizational structure should be strengthened from the bottom. We need to move forward with a very clear vision. Wherever there are weaknesses, they should be addressed without looking at anything else. It is time for everyone to move forward with a clear mind by avoiding all priorities beyond the party," Venugopal said.
