Came to see Ahaana, says Fazal who tried to break into Krishnakumar's house; relatives of accused say they are not interested in releasing him on bail

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The person arrested by the police for trying to break into the actor Krishnakumar's house in Maruthankuzhi has said that he did so to see actress Ahaana Krishna, daughter of Krishnakumar.

Fazal ul Akbar, a native of Kondotty Pulikkal, Malappuram, jumped the gate of Krishnakumar's house at 9.30 pm last night and tried to enter the house.

Krishnakumar and his family were witness to the person's attempt. Ahaana Krishna was not at home at the time of the incident.

Though the police spoke to the relatives of the accused, they said they are not interested in releasing Fazal on bail.

Police are investigating whether Fazal has mental problems and is addicted to drugs. The police said that there were no political motives behind the attempted attack on the actor's house.
