AICC makes direct move to pacify Christian church factions; Tariq Anwar meets Mar Cleemis

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Representatives of AICC makes direct moves to pacify the Christian church factions. AICC secretary Tariq Anwar held talks with Mar Cleemis. AICC secretary Ivan D'Souza and Anto Antony MP also took part in the meeting.

AICC hold the view that in the local body polls, the Christian community in the state has distanced itself from UDF. Reports suggest that the agenda of the meeting was how to reaffirm the faith of various Christian communities to UDF. Ivan D'Souza also met the representatives of Marthoma Church.
