Kerala clocks 4106 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 3714 cases through contact, 17 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 4106 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 3714 persons developed the disease through contact including 262 cases without an identified source of infection. 107 persons who came from outside the state tested positive for the virus. 23 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

5885 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 52,869 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 17 deaths due to the virus on Wednesday with the toll rising to 4136.
