Kerala clocks 2765 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 2493 cases through contact, 15 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 2765 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 2493 persons developed the disease through contact including 181 cases without an identified source of infection. 70 persons who came from outside the state tested positive for the virus. 21 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

4031 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 45,995 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 15 deaths due to the virus on Tuesday with the toll rising to 4241.
