PALAKKAD: Health minister K K Shylaja said that she suspects the involvement of the Congress-League-BJP alliance behind the incident of rejecting BJP candidates nomination papers. She also alleged that nomination papers are submitted after multiple scrutiny and such serious mistakes in nomination papers are mysterious.

“The papers are submitted in a manner as if they should be rejected. Earlier also Thalaserry is infamous for illegal nexus between Congress and BJP for votes,” Shylaja said. “UDF’s manifesto is just a gimmick. Everybody knows the condition of the hospitals during the UDF regime. It is the LDF government that made hospitals people friendly and modernised family health centres,” she added.

“Pinarayi who led Kerala through the most difficult period in the last five years is essential for the state. Kerala doesn’t have any special political needs now. A woman chief minister should arise if Kerala’s political situation demands so. The people of Kerala wants another government to be led by Pinarayi Vijayan and other questions have not relevance,” the health minister said.
