KASARGOD: K Surendran, BJP chief and candidate of Manjeshwar, hits out at KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran, who sought votes for the CPM while campaigning in Manjeswaram. He said the soul of Kripesh and Sharat Lal, will not forgive Mullappaly, who sought votes for the LDF.

‘His action is an insult to the martyred congress families. Any cheap action will be taken to win elections. This is ideal bankruptcy. Two fronts are mutually seeking help fearing defeat. In Nemom and Manjeshwar, the party leaders are seeking support from their opponents,’ Surendran said.

Mullappally, who showered criticisms against the chief minister yesterday, opined that the LDF candidate in Manjeshwar is weak. Mullappally while addressing the meet yesterday said the CPM did this for BJP’s win. Mullappally alleged that the LDF made regional moves with the SDPI in 72 constituencies and said was ready for a move to defeat the BJP in Manjeshwar.
