THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leader and union minister V Muraleedharan has said that the stand taken by the government on the Sabarimala issue and the police attack on believers will reflect in the assembly elections. He also added that CPM leaders role in the gold smuggling scam, government’s unholy deals, Speaker’s unwillingness to appear for interrogation etc will play a crucial role in deciding the result of elections.
“Individual worship has reached its zenith in CPM. Yesterday it has reached its most insulting form. The chief minister who is mobilising film stars for the election campaign is the new face of Kerala. The party workers are even asking whether Pinarayi is forced to use film stars to ensure his victory in Dharmadom. Is Pinarayi concerned over the candidature of Valayar girls’ mother?
“CPM must reveal from where it gets the money to conduct the stars’ night. The people have the right to know whether the money was received from illegal money laundering acts. There exist Congress-CPM understandings at least in 20 constituencies where a strong triangular fight was witnessed last time. Mullapally asking for LDF’s support to defeat BJP in Manjeshwaram is a testimony to this fact,” he said.
“The partnership allegation proves that both fronts in Kerala are irked by the strong presence of the BJP in the assembly polls. The state leadership has already clarified its stand regarding the party’s votes in Talassery. The decision taken by state leadership is bigger than district leadership. BJP’s support falls on the person, as declared by the party president,” he added.
