KOZHIKODE: KPCC chief Mullapally Ramachandran has expressed concerns over the first signs of result in Manjeshwaram. He said that he is concerned over the feedbacks being received from party workers and if Surendran wins from Manjeshwaram then, Pinarayi will be the sole person responsible for it.

“The CPM workers have not shown their usual enthusiasm for their candidate from Manjeshwaram. Marxist circles were silent. CPM has fielded a candidate who has good ties with BJP leaders,” Mullapally said.

“CPM is never going to win from Manjeshwaram. In Nemom, the contest is not between CPM and Congress. CPM has also fielded a weak candidate in the Nemom constituency. I am 99 per cent satisfied with the election of candidates,” Mullapally added.
