Oxygen shortage: Malayali dies in New Delhi

VADAKKANCHERRY: M Ramdas (65) of Pathirikkalam in Manjapra, who was undergoing treatment for pneumonia in New Delhi, died due to lack of oxygen. He had been in treatment for four days. The death was confirmed at 11 am yesterday. MK Surendran, a relative, said the death was due to a shortage of oxygen along with the medical crisis following an increase in the number of patients. The funeral will be held later in New Delhi. Ramdas, who worked for a private company, has been living in Delhi with his family for years. Wife: Jayasree. Children: Divya (Canada), Nivya. Sons-in-law: Rinith and Amit.
