LDF secures lead in the first phase of counting; UDF a close second

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After counting postal votes, EVM votes has been started to be counted in every constituency in the state. LDF is leading in the state, after the first half an hour of vote counting has been completed. Nemom, where a triangular fight is being witnessed, leads have been constantly changing.

Pala where a strong fight between LDF and UDF is being witnessed, Jose K Mani is far ahead of others. LDF has also secured a lead in Thiruvalla, Kovalam, Attingal, Vattiyoorkavu, Kottarakara and Punnaloor. K B Ganesh Kumar who was behind others during the counting of postal votes has secured a clear lead during the counting of EVM votes.

Kunnatunad where Twenty-Twenty is presenting a strong fight UDF has been leading. Indicating a sabotage, LDF is leading in Tiroorangadi. Mathew T Thomas is lagging behind in Thiruvalla. P V Anwar and Ramachandran Kadanapally are leading in Nilamboor and Kannur respectively. K Babu who had a clear lead in postal votes in Thripunnithura is now lagging behind M Swaraj while counting EVM votes.

Mathew Kuzhalnadan is leading the polls in Muvattupuzha. Thrissur which is witnessing a triangular fight is currently being led by Congress Candidate Padmaja. In Vandoor, A P Anil Kumar is leading.
