Nothing happened in state for continuity of rule in last five years; takes failure as a challenge, says Chandy

KOTTAYAM: Former chief minister Oommen Chandy said that he fully accepts the verdict of the people. It was an unexpected defeat. Nothing happened in the state for continuation of the rule in the last five years. The defeat is not taken with despair but with a challenge, he said.

The fall in the majority in Puthupally should be seen as another pattern. Rest of the things will be examined on panchayat basis. Will not be proud of winning the election or disappointed by losing. Others things will be decided after holding talks with the colleagues, he added.
