ALAPPUZHA: Accepting people’s verdict. An unexpected defeat happened. Never thought about this defeat. Respect the verdict of the people. The UDF will move forward through collective discussions. The corruption of the Left will not fade away with this victory, said Ramesh Chennithala.

Chennithala congratulated all the winners. All the allegations levelled were factual. The government had rectified them. There have been setbacks in the capital city, Thrissur and Alappuzha. He also said that it is not right to respond without examining them in detail. Resigning the opposition leader’s post will be decided jointly. The congress has seen many successes and failures. This is a temporary setback, he said.
