Theft at jewellery owner's house: Accused arrested by Goa police

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The man who stole jewellery and money from the house of Bhima jewellery owner has been arrested by the Goa police, sources said. Mohammad Irfan, a native of Bihar, has been arrested in a Rs 1 crore robbery case in Goa. The Kerala Police has received information about this.


The theft at the residence of Bhima jewellery owner Dr B Govindan took place on April 14. Diamond jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 60,000 were stolen. The theft took place at the house which was guarded by security guards and guard dogs. Police had earlier released pictures of the thief.
