Nurse on way to work dies in accident

KOCHI: A nurse was thrown off her scooter after a lorry hit her vehicle Monday morning. The incident happened when she was on her way to the private hospital in Nettoor where she was working. The dead has been identified as Anu Thomas (32) of Cherthala Varanam Kandathil. The accident happened at the Madavana Junction. When she took her scooter after receiving the signal, a lorry coming from Vyttila side hit her vehicle. She died on the spot itself. Her husband is abroad and Elen is her son.
