THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The political Kerala is paying homage to revolutionary leader K R Gouri Amma. Her body is kept at the Ayyankali Hall in the capital city for the public to pay homage. At a time when strict restrictions have been imposed, the government issued a special order relaxing Covid protocol.
Although only 300 people are permitted to pay homage in an hour, more are expected to pay homage to Gouri Amma. The capital city will be giving a well-deserved farewell to K R Gouri Amma at the specially set up place in Ayyankali Hall. Her body is draped in red flag.
A Vijayaraghavan and M A Baby draped her in red flag. More are thronging the hall to pay homage to the departed soul. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and many others paid homage to the leader. The body will be taken to Alappuzha and will be cremated at 6 pm in the evening.
