Youth fires at woman following family dispute, misses target five times

WALAYAR: A youth’s air gun attack after reaching his relative’s house following a family dispute. The incident happened Tuesday evening at Attappallam. His attack was towards Anthoniyammal and her children.

No one was injured as the youth missed the target. Bosco, a native of Aattupathi, went into hiding after the attack. His relatives handed over the air gun and the pellets to the police. Bosco, who reached the house on a bike, ran to the kitchen and fired at them.

He missed the first shot and it got stuck on the door. Her children and in-laws rushed to the kitchen hearing the noise. Though they pushed him when he tried for the second shot, it fired. He shot at them five times but missed all. He later fled from there. Soon after the incident, his brother Anthony reached there and gave a death threat to them, Anthoniyammal told police.
