Treasury transactions to be stalled for four days, services to new server

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Treasury services will be partially stalled for four days in the state. The services will not be available from this evening. This is because the services are being transferred to the new server.

It is common for all transactions to go awry due to software malfunctions in the treasury. There will be a technical glitch in the first week of every month. The software issue posed a major challenge to pay the revised salaries and pensions from April 1.

The pensioners had to wait for hours to get the pension. The work of treasuries was interrupted for days. The new server was purchased based on the directive that increasing the server capacity could solve the problem.
