Kerala clocks record number of recoveries, 99,651 patients tested negative for Covid on Monday, says CM Vijayan

State recorded highest daily recovery on Monday as 99,651 patients tested negative for Covid-19. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made the announcement at a press conference in the evening. Today, 21,402 people have been diagnosed with the disease on Wednesday. Test positivity rates have also dropped-24.74 percent.

Thrissur district has the highest number of recveries today-17,884. Meanwhile, 2045 people have been diagnosed with the disease in the district today. Currently, the number of patients undergoing treatment in Thrissur is 41,015. Thiruvananthapuram district has the second highest number of recoveries.

A total of 16,100 people have tested negative in the capital district today. At present, 31,328 people are being treated here. The disease has been confirmed in 2364 people in the district today.

Ernakulam has the third highest number of recoveires.

Today, 14,900 patients have tested negative here. There are 55,739 patients in the district. In Ernakulam today 2315 people have been diagnosed with the disease. The four worst affected districts in the state are Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Malappuram. All four districts are currently on a triple lockdown.
