Accused who was released on bail found hanging

MUPLIYAM: An accused who was arrested and released on bail in the case of trespassing on a farm and killing lambs was found hanging in Alathur. The deceased has been identified as Bihar native Umesh Hasda (32).

Umesh was handed over to the police by the farm owners and locals. The police investigation revealed that he was mentally ill. The accused was then taken to his friends in Alathur. He was found hanging at his residence in Alathur yesterday. He was a farmworker in Vellarampadam, Thrissur for two years. On Wednesday, he trespassed on the farm and killed the lambs.
