Birthday wishes to the emperor of Kerala art and also to my master; Mohanlal’s b’day wishes to Kalamandalam Gopi 

Actor Mohanlal has rendered birthday wishes to Kalamandalam Gopi, who is also his master. He expressed greetings to his master through his Facebook post in which he has shared a photo with ‘Gopi Ashan’ along with a heart-touching note.

“Today is the birthday of Kathakali’s everlasting wonder, Kalamandalam Gopi Asan. I came to know about the astonishing world of Kathakali through Gopi Ashan. I consider it a privilege to learn Kathakali under his tutelage for the film Vanaprastham. Hearty birthday greetings to this emperor of Kerala art and also to my master,” he wrote in his Facebook post.

Mohanlal has also said that it is a privilege for him to meet Gopi Asan and also to get his blessings. The stalwarts of Kathakali and acting met each other for the first time in the sets of the film ‘Vanaprastham.’
