'Is Sangh Parivar trying to turn Lakshadweep into another Kashmir?'; VT Balram accuses central government of pursuing communal agenda

VT Balram, former Thrithala MLA and Congress leader, has accused the central government of using Lakshadweep administrator Praful Patel to pursue their communal agenda on the island.

Taking it to Facebook, Balram criticised the central government's policies regarding Lakshadweep. In his Facebook post, he said that the Sangh Parivar might be trying to turnLakshadweep into another Kashmir since it does not naturally like the fact that Lakshadweep has a 100% Muslim population. The former MLA also said that the culture and lifestyle of the island were deteriorating with the intervention of the central government.
