There are many whose incomes have stopped during Covid time. Serial actors are the ones who are affected the most. They are badly hit after the suspension of shootings. Actor Jishin Mohan has sent an e-mail to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asserting the difficulties of those in this sector.

He said that he is spending sleepless nights wondering how life can be taken forward. He said many are suffering in these difficult times. He requested the chief minister to impose relaxations in the lockdown and permit them to resume shooting adhering to Covid protocol.

He said that he and his wife are serial actors. They stay in Ernakulam and their only source of income is serials. This is not only our situation. There are many like us. Serial actors are not paid as much as film stars. We are daily wagers. Majority of us support our families with this income.
